About Painted Chai Pot – Mela:

These hand-painted aluminum teapots are inspired by tea service in India, where chaiwallas pour chai from pots like these to customers on the street. Each one is done by hand by our friends at Artizen teaware in India. This pot is called “Mela,” which is a Sanskrit word meaning “gathering,” and it depicts many figures in celebration.
