About Ginger Puer:
This is a darker, ‘cooked’ style puer – a genre of tea known for its rich, dark infusion and smooth earthy flavor. To complement these characteristics, we have added dried ginger root. Ginger root has been used for centuries as a digestive aid and is believed to help settle the stomach.
Puer tea is named for the town of Puer where tea from the surrounding mountains was brought, pressed into bricks and cakes, and sent out across the continent. Puer teas traveled as far as Tibet, Japan, and Europe.
Ingredients: Puer tea Leaves, Dried Ginger Root.
