About Yerba Mate Sampler:
The Yerba Mate sampler includes three small tins packaged together in a gift box. The set is a perfect gift for a Mate lover or a great way to sample a few different types of Yerba Mate. Each tin contains 1.5 oz of leaf, has double lids for air tight closure and can be reused. Listed below are the varieties of Yerba Mate featured in the sampler:
Roasted Mate – The leaves of this unique Mate from Southern Brazil are roasted to give a full body and a chocolate flavor.
Yerba Mate – The classic aged Argentinian Mate, an evergreen member of the holly family, Ilex paraguariensis. A crisp, herbaceous, vegetal aroma and flavor.
Mate Chai – This all-organic blend is made with Mate, cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom. A cool, refreshing taste.

Brewing Instructions:
Every tea is different and can be brewed in different ways. The chart below is not a hard-and-fast guide for brewing this tea, but rather a place to get started. Steeping time may vary based on your personal taste or on how many infusions have already been done. Experiment with the brewing of your tea to discover its unique character.
The Mate Gourd and Bombilla (straw) are traditional vessels used for enjoying Yerba Mate. The gourd is filled three-quarters full with the leaves and after adding water, the brew is enjoyed by sipping through the bombilla.
