About This Product
Yame is one of Japan’s most prestigious tea regions, with a deep and rich history spanning over 600 years. While it is less well known than Uji, Japan, it has recently been winning awards for the quality of its matcha. This region regularly dominates Japanese national tea competitions, consistently taking top prizes. This is a Saemidori matcha, a premium single-cultivar green tea renowned for its vibrant green color and exceptional flavor. Our matcha has creamy, velvety front-palate notes and a clean, sweet finish, leaving your mouth with a cooling aftertaste.

Brewing Instructions
Powdered tea is prepared by whisking the tea powder with hot water until it has dissolved and become frothy. Use 3 scoops of Matcha with 8 ounces of filtered water at 160°F. With a fast, sideways motion, use a Chasen or whisk until tea is well blended.
