About This Product

Sweet Matcha adds a flavorful kick to smoothies, shakes and lattes. Known for its vegetal umami flavor, Matcha pairs well with other ingredients and can also be used in everything from brownies to ice creams, glazes, macarons, cookies and cakes. Powdered green tea contains L-theanine, an amino acid known for producing a calm alertness which can balance the effects of caffeine.

Here are a couple simple recipes to get you started:


Whisk 1 tablespoon Sweet Matcha into 2 ounces hot water. (You may use a Chasen if you have one, or a small kitchen whisk.) Separately heat 8 ounces of milk to about 160°F on the stovetop or froth with espresso steamer.
Pour over the liquid matcha and enjoy.


Blend together:
1 Tablespoon Sweet Matcha
1 Cup Almond Milk
1 Handful Kale or Spinach
1-2 Frozen Bananas
1 Cup Frozen Peach, Pineapple, or Mango.

Ingredients: Powdered Green Tea Leaves, Cane Sugar.

Brewing Instructions

Powdered tea is prepared by whisking the tea powder with hot water until it has dissolved and become frothy. See the links below for further instructions.
