About This Product
Sakhejung Black is a smooth and creamy black tea with many golden tips. This full-flavored tea is processed at a women-owned factory in Ilam district, Eastern Nepal. Some have considered Nepali teas to be a well kept secret of the industry, as the country’s tea estates and plants tend to be newer than the more established gardens of neighboring Darjeeling, India.
Sakhejung factory was founded in response to some of the challenges that tea farmers were facing in Nepal in the early 2000s. They have worked toward improving crop values for farmers and, over time, their teas have gained a following from tea connoisseurs around the world.
Ingredients: Black Tea Leaves.
