About High Elevation Assam:
This High Elevation Assam comes from the upper region of the Brahmaputra Valley, also considered the birthplace of the indigenous tea plant varietal Camellia assamica. Made in midsummer, during the second flush season. FTGFOP stands for Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe. This has nothing to do with the flavor orange – it is part of a traditional grading system used in the sub-continent. GFOP typically refers to more earthy, brisk teas.
Ingredients: FTGFOP Grade Black Tea Leaves.
Full-bodied, brisk, and slightly earthy with a rich, malty aroma.
