About This Product
This delicious and fragrant Darjeeling tea comes from the Jungpana Tea Estate (established 1899). The estate is quite remote– around 12km from the hilly town of Kurseong in Darjeeling. Darjeeling tea production has distinct seasons, with early plucking beginning in late March.
These first flush crops tend to be a bit greener than the second flush, and are often referred to as the “Champagne” of tea because of their complex, splendid aromas and flavors. This is one of those early flush crops, and enjoys lower temperature water and shorter steeping times (See chart below). For the best results in flavor start with a lower temperature and shorter brew time and adjust from there.
Available in a 50 gram pack.
Ingredients: Black Tea.
