Lugu

Lugu township is located in the southwest of Nantou County, Taiwan. In 1855, Lin Feng Chi brought the Cing Shin Oolong plants from Wuyi Mountain (Fujian Province, China) into Taiwan and planted in Dongding Village (Lugu, Nantou County, Taiwan). This is said to be the origin of Dongding Oolong (Frozen Summit) from Taiwan. Teas harvested in the spring are entered in a competition and the winners are quickly bespoken at premium prices.
